BlochVector¶

Sets Bloch-vector $\pvec{k}_{\mathrm{B}}$ which is needed to specify the Bloch-periodicity for periodic geometries. For the discussion of periodic boundary conditions see here in the section Electromagnetics. For a Source definition using Python, the Bloch-periodicity cannot be automatically detected by JCMsolve and has to be stated explicitly.

For two-dimensional, $z$ -invariant problems the third component of the Bloch-vector, $k_z$ , has the meaning of a wavenumber as detailed here in the parent section.
