Sets the sampling spacing in $\pvec{k}$ -space for the spectrum of the beam. The default value is determined from the extent of the beams intensity profile in transverse direction. For a Gaussian beam profile it defaults to

$\begin{eqnarray*} \Delta k = \frac{\pi}{\sqrt {-\log( 10^{-12} ) } W}, \end{eqnarray*}$

where $W$ is the Waist parameter of the beam.
