Sets angular frequency $\omega$ . The angular frequency is specified in units of 1/seconds, $\units{s^{-1}}$ .

For a Source definition using Python, the Bloch-periodicity cannot be automatically detected by JCMsolve and has to be stated explicitly.

Example:

For a computation at vacuum wavelength of $\lambda_0=780\, \mathrm{nm}$ , specify the angular frequency as $\omega=c_0 2\pi/\lambda_0$ , with the vacuum speed of light $c_0$ :
