This definition allows to set boundary conditions to the edges of the computational domain by selecting global selection criteria.

The global boundary conditions attributed to the Boundary here will be inherited by all boundaries.

For example, to set x-periodic boundary conditions you can use the Direction = Horizontal selector as employed below
